Earth Day Clean-Up

In mid-April, under sunny skies, the Howitt Park neighbourhood celebrated its 8th annual Earth Day Clean-Up, where those who live around the beautiful park tucked in behind Waterloo Avenue came out for a clean-up session, time together & a great BBQ. The event also featured a human history talk about the park, face painting & refreshments. Organized Clean-Ups such as this one are a great way not only to keep our city beautiful, but also to teach responsibility to the next generation, and to have fun with your neighbours!
