Local Map - Guelph Junction

The area that is to be rezoned is the old Lafarge area that is defined by the two railway lines and the Hanlon Parkway. This area is known as Guelph Junction. Presently this property is zoned as Industrial, which dates back several decades to when Lafarge used this land as a quarry.

It has since then been enveloped by the community of Guelph for residential use. The present application to rezone as commercial will have a grave impact on the local residents, mainly due to the poor access available to this location.
