The Howitt Park Neighbourhood Residents' Association (HPNRA) is a group of residents who are committed to building and sustaining the quality of life and compatibility of our neighbourhood in order to enjoy its benefits as well as to advocate for the issues that face our neighbourhood. We are dedicated to building community spirit by connecting people with resources, information, events and programs. We strive to be a strong, safe and unique community within the City of Guelph. We work with our fellow residents to come together as a local community to enjoy our neighbourhood. This includes contributing to events such as the annual Howitt Park Clean Up and supporting involvement in local traffic calming. The HPNRA is also dedicated to keeping our local neighbors as well as the residents of the City of Guelph current on the progress of the former Lafarge property proposed development to help you formulate an informed position. Ongoing efforts include working with the City and the present owners (Silvercreek Developments Guelph Ltd.) of the former Lafarge property in order to ensure the proposed development is compatible with our neighbourhood and the vision residents have as a community. To this end, we ask you for your help:
It is only through your involvement and participation that we can grow and celebrate the environment of a safe, vibrant community that provides a high quality of life for all our residents. |
